Studying the Bible, praying for each other and
sharing fellowship and service together is one of
the most powerful ways to grow spiritually and to
develop meaningful relationships with others in
Christ.
Join
a L.I.F.E. Group at Glen Avon
There
are several ways to join a L.I.F.E. Group:
-
For an existing group you are interested in,
contact the person listed under Contact Us on
the left of this web page.
-
Call the church office and speak with Robyn or
Lon Weaver (our co-pastors) about which group
would be best for you.
-
You don’t have to go through an organized
ministry to start a L.I.F.E. Group. Invite
a group of friends to join you and start your
own. Our pastors or an existing group member
would be glad to help you get your group off to a
good start with helpful information and support.
Give Robyn or Lon a ring.
No two L.I.F.E.
Groups are alike. Rather, it is the unique
qualities of a groups members, and the unique
urgings of the Holy Spirit, that will make a group
"right" for you. Our prayer is that you will
find a group where you grow closer to other
believers and to God.

Mentoring
Our pastors or an
existing group member can provide mentoring for new
L.I.F.E. Groups. These mentors help new groups get
off to a strong start by providing organizational
and leadership
guidance.

Books of the Bible
Choose a book of the Bible to study with or
without a study guide. The Gospels and Paul's
shorter epistles are great places to start.
