2013 Gathering
“For
everything there is a season under heaven . . .”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Buena Vista University
Storm Lake, Iowa
June 12-15
The 2013
Gathering opens with dinner on Wednesday, June 12, and runs
through a plenary session Saturday, June 15. It follows the
theme of Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “For everything there is a season
under heaven.” There are numerous workshops and break-out
sessions on mission, crafts, leadership, science and God, and
next years PW study of Exodus and Deuteronomy. Several have
expressed interest in carpooling to this year’s Synod Gathering.
If you are interested, please contact Barbara Coyle, Jan Simmons
or Claudia Scott Welty. For more information on this Gathering,
check out the brochure on the GAPW bulletin board or visit this
web site: http://www.lakesandprairies.org/PDFFiles/1PWsynodGATHERING.pdf
It’s not too late to join a
Circle. Our study this year is “Dispatches to God’s
Household: The General Epistles”. You are welcome to join
us!
