In his book ‘Preaching the Miracles’, John Brokhoff tells a wonderful story of the Ressurection; “O for a voice to sing Praise!”

W.E.Sangster, a distinguished preacher of a former generation, felt an unease in his throat. He went to the doctor who told him he had an inoperable disease of progressive athrophy. He was told his voice would eventually fail and he would be unable to swallow. He continued his ministry by writing. At length his voice disappeared. On Easter morning a few weeks before he died, he wrote in a letter to his daughter, “It is terrible to wake up Easter morning and have no voice with which to shout ‘He is Risen!’, but it would be still more terrible to have a voice and not want to shout it.”

Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord your God is with you, God is mighty to save.

Easter time is the season to rejoice and sing, as we able! For due to the Love of God in Christ Jesus we have been forgiven and set free. Due to His raising from the grave we too can know of Ressurection Hope.

‘He is Risen. He is Risen Indeed.’ Alelluia!
