FOOD SHELF
Your support of our local neighbors in need is greatly appreciated. Please continue to donate either food items or cash. Food items may be placed in the grocery cart in the back of the north narthex of Glen Avon Presbyterian Church. Checks can be made to CHUM Food Shelf and mailed to 120 N. 1st Ave. W., Duluth, MN 55802.
Last year our local food shelf dispersed 5,094 5-day orders of food and 243,180 pounds of food. Our congregation donated 1,234 pounds of that food! As you can see your support is needed and appreciated. Please continue donating canned vegetables, canned fruits, peanut butter, tuna fish, macaroni and cheese. Egg cartons are no longer needed. Check CHUM News on the bulletin board outside the church office for other needs and updates.
